Well it in 1878 upon the arrival of the Prince of Edward VII and Queen Victoria, the Maharaja Singh painted the avenues and walls of the city Pink. We arrived to the melodic chaos of the Pink City, which really is Pink. We left late afternoon from most forgettable city of Pushkar ( see my TR on Pushkar here : Pushkar: An Unnecessary Detour ) for a short 3 hour drive.
